Inner Strength - Recorded Winter 1993/1994

"Inner Strength" had a somewhat heavier and darker tone than "Prey on the Weakness." The band was exploring different musical styles and realized by the end of the "Strength" sessions that they were a ska band.

Prey on the Weakness - Recorded winter 1992/1993

"Prey" was recorded during the winter of 1992/1993. This was actually the 2nd attempt at recording many of these songs as the previous winter a recording was made but the band agreed that the production just wasn't good enough to carry the emotions of the compositions to the audience.

From the Beginning

"From the Beginning" was Hyperactive's first collection of original recordings. This recording was made late over the winter of 1990/1991 at a local studio in Trenton, NJ. The origin of the name "From the Beginning" is unknown but it probably arose from the fact that no other name could be agreed upon and it was the first original recording that the band would release.
